Counselling new believer – part 2
Use your hand to teach 6 basic growth principles for believers.

    • Thumb > as the thickest finger it reminds of the Bible a thick book > Read, study, memorize, meditate and put it in practice by obeying it 2 Timothy 3:16&17
    • Pointing finger > Points up to heaven where God is. Need to “talk” to God aka “prayer”. Anywhere, anytime about everything. 1Thessalonians 5:17
    • Middle-finger > tallest and stand out above other fingers – stand out for God by being a witness for Him Acts 1:8
    • Ring finger > bends over and reminds to bow in humility and confess my sins when I sinned. 1 John 1:9
    • Pinky > smallest finger and weskest on their own. Speaks of fellowship with other believers. Hebrews 10:25 and Acts 2:44
All five together make strong fist that “ punch” the enemy hard!
    • Open hand > Giving – first to God Romans 12:1 and then to others Acts 2:44&45
      How? Time, posessions etc.
