Jesus modelled how finding a “Person of Peace” is important in seeing many people come to Him. In Disciple Making Movements (DMMs), it’s important to find as many People of Peace as possible, because they will help spread the Good News far and wide, and quickly. They will open doors to their relatives, friends, social networks and even towns.
Activities
Finding people of peace is an important activity.
- Study some New Testament examples of People of Peace so you have an idea who they are like and what they do.
- People of Peace are more than friendly people who are willing to talk to you. How will you know if someone is open to the Gospel and naturally willing to help spread the Gospel widely?
- If you find a Person of Peace, what three practical things will you do to help them spread the Good News?
